pdf to xls
1. Visit http://www.pdftoexcel.org to upload the pdf to convert to xls and add your email address to send it to your mail inbox.
2. Click the link in your mail and save the converted file to your computer.
When uploading your file for conversion give it a specific name so you can tell it apart from all others. EG: 20121101_20121201_bsb_accountno.pdf
Hxls to csv
1. Double click and open the xls file you previously saved to your computer. ( excel program must be installed)
2. Remove all lines prior to "Brought forward" and after "Carried forward" leaving only the "transactions" lines used for banking.
3. If there are $ signs used in any column right click on the head of that column ..format cells...and change to "number only - 2 decimal places". (running total column not required to alter)
4. Ensure date formats are in / or - and not blank spaced.
5. Go to "file" click "Save As"...."type".... drop down select "CSV (Comma delimited)" and click Save.
6. Task complete.
